Emuze + hamst3r
This isn’t a review at all. It’s not because as much as I’d like to be Paul Van Dyke or John Digweed, I am not a DJ. I have absolutely no talent for audio editing. But when I saw this program available for XNA I had to post it for anyone who would want to create their own tunes.
Emuze + hamst3r is a pretty complex music creation software for 800MS points ($10 US). Sure there’s lots of stuff for PC out there, and it would be a pain to pull your creations off your Xbox. But for the price it’s definitely a good place to start for anyone interested.
The video above shows part of the sample track that is defaulted to when you download the demo. I also show a tiny bit of how to move around.
There’s a huge amount of sample clips to use from, even a ton of vocal stuff which is really neat.
