Terminator Salvation
Terminator Salvation is a game that I can easily call a typical third person shooter. I played it for several hours and to be honest the only thing that kept me playing was easy trophies (85%) and the story (15%). The gameplay itself isn’t that interesting and doesn’t have much to offer. I should say it’s fun but not for long!
The game is so linear and repetitive! It’s like old-school Atari 2600 games where enemies come to you in waves and the further you progress the more enemies come to you. All you need to do is to perform the same strategy over and over again! Take Cover, point and shoot! Well, if the target is a spider there is one more thing to do, you should go behind him first. All of the battle scenes seem so pre-made and prepared for you and they are mostly so similar you know exactly what to do and where to go!
At one point I just got bored with wasting time killing the enemies so I tried to leave the battle area and move toward my objective. The game warned me not to leave the battle scene and the screen started fading. In my opinion, it is really poor game design! If you don’t want me to leave then stop me by something better than a message! No one likes invisible walls, but it’s a better solution than just failing the mission. At least you can’t leave accidentally in that case. All in all, it just takes away the whole sense of being in the game!
Checkout the gameplay videos and see if you like the game or not but in my opinion, this game is worth renting more than buying.

Fantastic game, but i wouldnt advise anyone to waste £40 or £30 to buy it because its over in about 8 hours play time
No offense dude but you need to shoot at enemies more and stop snapping to and from cover and going around corners and hopping about. I’m not so sure I’d enjoy playing co-op with you, lol. Again no offense, just making an observation.

there all gold trophies well 11 r gold 1 is platinam its an easy trophie game iwould recomend for an easy platinum
Yeah, that’s totally fair. I played it for the first time the other day and you’re totally right, lol. Cover makes you disappear at most times in the game.

I though that immediatly too, and then I realised how similar it actually was when I saw the exact same maps from GOW. Crazy, you’d think they’d at least remap it.
