Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
It was no surprise that Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare would be a hit, but that it would topple every other FPS, including Halo 3, and become the most played online game on both PS3 and 360 was astonishing. The sequel Modern Warfare 2 is easily the biggest game of this holiday season and Infinity Ward has pulled out all the stops to make this a bigger and better experience than the last.
Modern Warfare 2 splits the game into 3 main modes: the single player story campaign, online competitive mode, and a new special ops mode.
Modern Warfare had an incredible campaign mode, every level was different, well designed and memorable. Right off the bat you can tell that the single player mode for MW2 is continuing that tradition and taking it to the next level. The battles feel bigger, the environments are more varied, and the overall cinematic feel of the game makes the campaign seem much more epic. The biggest complaint from the original game was that the campaign was too short. The campaign mode isn’t any longer than the previous game and is over in 6-8 hours.
The new snow level has some impressive visuals and the snow effects really change up the gameplay. The stealth aspects of the level is done very well. These aspects also make for some of the best special ops missions.
The special ops mode is the co-op mode that was missing from Modern Warfare. It allows you to play through a series of 33 missions solo, or with a buddy. The game supports local co-op or online play. The missions can be pretty tough, but based on the criteria for each mission you can earn 1-3 stars for finishing each mission.
The online mode just builds on the previous game. It features the same level up and perk system, but adds new weapons and kill streak rewards. You can still create your own custom classes and now you can also upgrade your perks to pro versions. There’s also an unlockable 3rd person view mode that can be played. The amount of players in each mode changes, but the max player count is 18. While that seems low compared to other games, the maps are balanced perfectly for that size and the gameplay is hectic as ever. Inviting friends to your game doesn’t work well, there some issues here, which could really kill the multiplayer mode. It seems that a patch is coming though.
The game also still features a four player local multiplayer mode.
Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is an amazing experience no longer how you play it. It’s a great cinematic campaign mode, and the expansive multiplayer experience will last for quite a while. The co-op missions add a lot to the game, and make it worth while even if you aren’t an online player.

there is an option on display settings where you can set Full range of color or Limited. is something about the color and the contrast. when you set it to full you will have images with better darks. you will see more details. and the image looks crispy looks very very awesome. but remember this option only works with some few LCD tvs the reason why is set to limited is because not all tvs have that function so if u have a great LCD do it. and you will see the difference

ACR is POSITIVELY the most beneficial weapon in the game. When I run a Search and Destroy on it, I almost always get the AC130, and slaughter everyone. Screw spending sixty dollars for Modern Warfare Two. Me and my buddies down loaded the steam nulled version that has the brand new 2010 Map Pack from codmw2freedl com last night, and it operates flawlessly. I’m already at level 17 and I can’t wait to get the ACR with ACOG Scope!

How much does Modern Warfare offer towards single player, can I just play a death match against the AI kind of like a Gears of War 2 setup…? and if not would Battlfield 2 offer anything towards single player apart from the campaign…?
will someone please explain to me how ps3 online works: if i make an account saying im in the united kingdom (im actually in asia but moving to uk soon), will it only connect to uk servers thus giving me low ping and lag? or does the ps3 configure to the nearest location and find the lowest ping server available when playing online?
